In this month's newsletter, I'd like to bring your attention to a small but important portion of our overall product offering, namely our Advanced Production Services (APS) business. At QED Technologies, we have a large variety of both MRF® and SSI® tools installed in our facility. These tools are primarily used at QED for demonstration and development purposes, however, they are fully functional tools capable of polishing and measuring high precision optical surfaces in a production mode. In our APS business, we offer both contract polishing and metrology services to our customers.
For those of you who already own our MRF® and SSI® based products, our APS business can be considered as an extension of your optics shop. Whether it is used as a means of handling peaks in demand that exceed your capacity, or for part sizes and shapes that don't meet your current capabilities, we are at your service to help with your business needs. For those of you who have not yet adopted our technology, the QED APS offering allows you to take advantage of our advanced finishing and metrology capabilities on an as-needed basis, without the capital investment.
